Hope Farm is in the countryside, close to the tranquil village
of Lympsham, with its neo-Gothic houses, picturesque cricket
pitch and C15th church.
In the village, a pint and a game of skittles can be enjoyed
at the Pavilion while watching a cricket match, a tennis court
may be hired and provisions can be picked up from the village
shop.
A few minutes drive away are the
seaside resorts of Weston-super-Mare and the more restful
town of Burnham-on-Sea, each with long golden sandy
beaches.
The wonderful scenery is ideal for touring,
walking and cycling and there are stately homes and
castles,as well as animal farms, a helicopter museum,
waterslides and donkeys on the beach.
Uphill
4 miles away is Uphill
with its tiny harbour, church ruins and nature reserve,
Brean and its headland; Brean Down is a "must see", and we recommend a visit to Berrow with its miles of sandy beach and dunes that support diverse wild life.
Nearby
there's golf, sailing, fishing and horse riding, as
well as steam trains, garden centres, cider tasting
and factory outlets.
