Payment
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is payable
on booking (by cheque payable to Hope Farm Cottages).
The balance of the payment is payable 5 weeks before
arrival (by cheque payable to Hope Farm Cottages). For bookings made less than 5 weeks in advance,
the total amount is payable on booking. All payments will
be receipted by return.
Payments From Outside the UK
In our experience, the easiest way to pay for your holiday is to transfer funds electronically from your bank to ours. On booking, we will provide you with our bank details and international codes. If you prefer, you can pay by international money order or a bankers draft in UK pounds. All payments will
be receipted by return.
Non-payment
Non-payment of any deposits or balances by due dates
may be deemed by us to be a cancellation of the
booking by you
What is Included?
Bedding and towels are included
in the rental (not for cot).
Electricity is provided by way of card meters. A £10 card is included per week of stay (normally more than adequate for a summer week); A £5 card is included for a short stay. Additional cards in denominations of £1, £5, £10 and £20 may be purchased from the farmhouse.

Cancellation
In the event of cancellation by you, we will try to
relet and, if successful, we will refund all monies
received less £25 administration fee, per cottage
per week or part-week. May we remind you that your holiday
booking is a legally binding contract and you are recommended
to insure against cancellation (Click on "Guest First" link to the left).
Arrival and Departure times
To ensure that your cottage is ready for you, normal arrival
is between 4:00 - 7:00 pm. If you would like to arrive outside this "window", please contact us in advance. We would appreciate you vacating
your cottage on the day of departure no later than 10.00 am,
to enable us to prepare it for our next guests.
Dogs
We welcome dogs at additional charge, with prior notice
and providing they are house trained and well behaved.
Dogs may not be left unattended in cottages at any time
and must be controlled on leads when in the courtyard or playground areas.
Size of booking
The number of guests occupying the cottage may not exceed
those booked.

Group
bookings
We do not accept young, single-sex bookings.
Guests' responsibility
You are responsible for the cottage and we trust you
will take all reasonable care of it. Please ensure the
cottage and its equipment are clean and tidy when you
leave. Please tell us about any damage to Hope Farm
property as soon as you can. Accidental damage or breakages
of a minor nature will not normally be charged but you
may be liable for any damage valued over £10.
Smoking
There is a no smoking indoors policy in force at Hope Farm, in line with current government legislation. If you would like to smoke outdoors, please let us know on arrival and we will provide an ashtray/sand bucket.
Complaint
Any complaint should be made to us immediately. We regret
we cannot consider any complaint made at the end of
the rental period or after you have departed.
All statements are made and information given in
good faith, being true and correct to the best of
our knowledge and belief, but we accept no liability
in the event of any such statement or information
being untrue or incorrect. We can accept no liability
for any accident, injury, loss or damage sustained
by your group, or any of your visitors, animals, vehicles
or personal effects, howsoever caused. We reserve
the right to decline accommodation and to enter premises
at any time, but will always endeavour to do so at
your convenience.
